Freelancing as Appaloosa marketing LLC
Full-time marketing freelancer since January 2022, managing advertising, SEO campaigns, product launches, and more.
I've ranked many services and products on page #1 of Google and Amazon, reached $100,000 in revenue for my own product.
I've managed employees, worked at agencies, hired other freelancers, and worked with existing teams
I built it from the ground up, using Next.Js, Tailwind CSS, and deployed on an AWS EC2 instance with Cloudflare.
I've worked with clinics, engineering firms, yacht rentals, sports products, novelty products, apparel, and non-profits..
My most common projects are S.E.O, Google Ads, Meta Ads, all things Amazon, Email, websites, and general marketing consulting.
SHOPIFY THEME & WEB DEVELOPMENT
I am comfortable using the Shopify CLI to make customer features on Shopify. I have extensive experience with Wordpress, DIY platforms like Wix, and front-end development with Next.Js, Vue.Js, and Django forms.
Recent Wordpress project I built alone:
BRANDING & DESIGN TOOLS
I often help small businesses with their basic branding and content editing.
Color palettes, logos, font files are all day-to-day considerations.
Skills include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Figma, & Canva.
Next.JS Landing Pages
In 2025, I worked hard on my tech skills, learning to create ultra-fast landing pages with Next.JS, deployed to AWS EC2. Below is a landing page I made for the app I built myself, storito.ai. You can learn more about it at the Tech section.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Social Media is of course important and valuable for actively connecting with an audience.
However, I've learned it's not enough to just post graphics on a business page's feed. People want to connect with the people in the brand. See behind-the-scenes & get to know the creator.
I learned a lot about management through my social media projects, but tend to avoid it, as the ROI is usually not there for fancy feeds.
MISSION - Small Business & Product launches
The mission of this business is to help small businesses lower their cost of advertising, improve their online sales, and save time by handling tedious marketing & website work, otherwise known as IT.
Aside from established business-owners, I occasionally work with entrepreneurs who are seeking to launch new products as an investment, and need technical support.
I've learned a lot from both types of clients, and have thoroughly enjoyed exploring different industries, niches, and business philosophies.
Managerial & Team Experience
In 2024, I hired, ran payroll, and managed a few local American employees to see if I could scale this freelancing business into an agency in 3 months.
I enjoyed helping them learn and grow professionally, but found that my management role was taking too much of my time, and decreasing the value of my own work. So, I did not extend their contracts, and work alone.
I often hire freelancers on behalf of brands or work with brand's existing team members, but don't wish to create an agency again.
To be honest, I miss working on a team & with people in general, but it's unprofitable and unproductive...

Marketing tech
I first started using Python to automate reporting and speed up file conversions.
Since then, I've developed many scripts for marketing including sitemap generators, product research scrapers, IG post downloaders, and software products.
Software as a Service (SASS) project
In 2025, I worked to create a SASS product with an engineering friend to make my marketing reporting tech available to other marketers and agencies. We were not able to work together respectfully so I ended the project.
Below is a video showing how it works— using real data saved in AWS Redshift to generate reports for users with a Vue.JS frontend and Django Backend:
HISTORY
My older brother was a top SEO and Adwords manager in Dallas. He taught me how to think about Adwords and mentored me as I worked at an agency for my first marketing position.
My brother-in-law is a supply chain expert that encouraged me to build Amazon skills, then connected me to brands needing marketing help. He's the #1 reason I was able to become a freelancer full-time.
Before making the switch, I worked at an agency as an Amazon specialist and another Agency as a Google Ads / SEO & eventually Meta Ads specialist.
And, before that I worked at my college radio station editing audio and volunteering as a DJ & board operator for jazz & alternative rock.
INDUSTRY COMMENTS
Tariff fallout and A.I. concern me, but there are still many companies stuck on old systems and platforms that need help modernizing.
I've worked to improve my programming skills to become more valuable as a a technician. You can read about that at the Tech page.
