Freelancing as Appaloosa marketing LLC
I've been a full-time marketing freelancer since January 2022, primarily managing ads, SEO campaigns, product launches, and new websites.
I've ranked many services and products on page #1 of Google and Amazon, including my own product which reached $100,000 in revenue year 1. You can learn more about that on the eCommerce page.
I've managed employees, worked at agencies, hired other freelancers, and worked with existing teams
I built it using Next.Js, Tailwind CSS, and deployed on an AWS EC2 instance with Cloudflare. This is my fourth time rebuilding it and first time moving off of Wordpress.
Past projects include clinics, engineering firms, yacht rentals, sports products, novelty products, apparel, and non-profits.
The most common scope for me is SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon setup & optimization, Email, websites, and strategy.
SHOPIFY THEME & WEB DEVELOPMENT
I strive to be the most technically skilled marketer.
New skills include using the Shopify CLI (Command Line Interface) to make customer features on Shopify. I have years of extensive experience with Wordpress, DIY platforms like Wix, and front-end development with Next.Js, Vue.Js, and Django forms.

BRANDING & DESIGN TOOLS
I take branding very seriously and often help small businesses with being more consistent and professional.
Color palettes, logos, font files are the first step to this.
Content editing skills include Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Figma, & Canva.
Next.JS Landing Pages
In 2025, I worked hard on my tech skills, learning to create ultra-fast landing pages with Next.JS, deployed to AWS EC2. Below is a landing page I made for the app I built myself, storito.ai. You can learn more about it at the Tech section.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Social media experience includes grid design, designer management, general processes, scheduling with different platforms, boosting, and reporting.
I hired a small team to design grids for brands, but don't recommend ongoing grids because it wasn't profitable for myself or my clients.
People want to connect with the people in the brand, see behind-the-scenes & get to know the creator. That can't be done with graphics alone.
MISSION - Small Business & Product launches
My mission is to provide the highest level of technical and strategic services while helping businesses stay profitable and scale long-term.
Managerial & Team Experience
In 2024, I hired, ran payroll, and managed a few local employees to see if I could scale my freelancing business into an agency.
I enjoyed helping them learn and grow professionally, but found that management took too much of my time, and decreased the value of my own work.
Often, I'll hire other freelancers on behalf of brands or work with brand's existing team members, but a team is incompatible with my mission.
To be honest, I miss working on a team & with people in general. I wish it was it was profitable and more productive.

Software as a Service (SASS) project
In 2025, I worked to create a SASS product with an engineering friend to make my marketing reporting tech available to other marketers and agencies.
Below is a video showing how it works— using real data saved in AWS Redshift to generate reports for users with a Vue.JS frontend and Django Backend.
Unfortunately, I had to end the project before launch because my partner did not want to work anymore without being paid. Understandable.
HISTORY
As a kid, I helped my mom with her projects like selling on Amazon, making organic bug spray, and setting up at a local trade show.
In college, I interned at a product company, a movie release marketing company, and worked at a radio station as a production manager.
Afterwards, I took marketing projects through family referrals where I earned less than minimum wage. A year or two later, I started working at agencies.
After a few years of agencies, I had enough side projects to focus on this business full-time.
INDUSTRY COMMENTS
My mission to be as technical as possible and to care about businesses' bottom line has helped me survive in marketing.
Tariff fallout and A.I. concern me in the long term, but there are still many companies that need help. Especially those on old systems.
I haven't stopped developing my coding skills or launching my own products. You can learn more about them by clicking the buttons below:
